Registration for TLDCON 2020, the 13th international conference for ccTLD registrants and registrars in the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe, closes on September 4.
Only one day is left to register for the online https://tldcon.ru/en/ TLDCON 2020 conference for ccTLD registrants and registrars that will take place on September 7‒8. This year, the conference will be held online for the first time. It will be broadcast on the event’s website, and participants will have an opportunity to ask their questions and take part in the discussions via the conference’s chat.
The two-day conference consists of six sections. Leading Russian and foreign experts on the domain industry, internet law, cybersecurity and internet infrastructure development will speak during each of the sections. The guest speakers include Mikhail Anisimov (ICANN), Maxim Burtikov (RIPE NCC), Andrei Kuzmichyov (RU-CENTER), Alexei Lukatsky (Cisco), Alexander Khristoforov (Gowling WLG), Alexander Venedyukhin (Technical Center of the Internet), Marina Rozhkova (IP CLUB), and Giovanni Seppia (EURid), to name a few.
The participants will discuss domain industry trends, internet security, domain disputes and development of new technologies. Today’s most urgent issues will also be addressed – speakers will certainly talk about the changes that occurred in the industry as it switched to remote operation. They will tell the audience how the domain world coped with the COVID-19 pandemic. The listeners will be the first to find out the latest news on the second round of the ICANN New gTLD Program, the development of Cyrillic domains and the use of DNS data.
The event is organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ with the support of the Technical Center of the Internet and MSK-IX. Participation is free, and registration is open until September 4. Don’t miss the chance to register on the website.
